Ivan Yates is a broadcaster, columnist, businessman and former politician, holding the position of Fine Gael Dáil deputy for more than twenty years. A native of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, he became the youngest member of the 22nd Dáil at twenty-one. He was appointed Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry in 1994. He founded Celtic Bookmakers, a chain of betting shops, which became one of the largest independent family chains in the country.

Ivan presented The Hard Shoulder, Newstalk’s drive time show and Tonight TV. Ivan set up MediaMasterclass.ie last year and is now a top Communications Coach.

Pádraigh is highly experienced “C” level executive with over 20 years’ experience in design, implementation, management and delivery of complex business and ICT transformation programmes across multiple business verticals including extensive experience in fintech, manufacturing, education, legal, healthcare, technology, telecoms, pharma, transportation, not for profit, and other private & semi state bodies.

Neil joined ISME as Chief Executive in 2016. He previously served as an infantry officer in the Irish Defence Forces, as a staff officer in Defence Forces HQ, and in operational roles in Lebanon and Cyprus. Neil managed petroleum distribution operations for 12 years in Ireland for ExxonMobil, Topaz, and smaller domestic customers.

This panel discussion will be moderated by Ivan Yates.
